Checkatrade Left Us High and Dry!

We were completely reliant on Checkatrade to discover us a competent tradesperson for our home improvement. We signed up and advertised our project details, but unfortunately, we were left high and dry.

After/Upon/Following hiring a plumber/electrician/carpenter from their platform, we ended up with a shoddy/subpar/messy job that cost us a fortune/ dearly/ an arm and a leg. Checkatrade's response/customer service/support has been dismissive/useless/unhelpful, leaving us feeling frustrated/angry/betrayed.

It's clear to us that Checkatrade favors their own profits over the well-being/satisfaction/rights of customers. We demand/request/urge fair compensation/justice/accountability for this injustice/wrongdoing/terrible experience.

Think twice before you fall for Checkatrade. Their whole setup is designed to rip you off. They promise the world but they barely anything. You'll be left in a pickle and nobody at Checkatrade will give a damn.

It all starts with their sneaky fees, which they hide in the fine print. Then, there's the terrible support that's about as helpful as a chocolate teapot. You can try to get your money back, but it's like pulling teeth.

Did Checkatrade Rip Us Off?

We thought we were doing the right move click here by using Checkatrade to find a reputable plumber/electrician/contractor. After all, they seemed so trustworthy with their approved traders. Boy, were we wrong! Our experience was nothing short of a disaster.

Then, the customer service from the "qualified" trader was lackluster/awful/terrible. He was unprofessional/rude/disrespectful and gave us a quote that was outrageous/ridiculous/way too high. We tried to talk about the issues, but he was adamant/unwilling/stubborn to compromise/negotiate/change.

In the end, we ended up payinga huge sum/an exorbitant amount/ way more than it should have been by this so-called "vetted" trader. Checkatrade's helpline was equally useless/incompetent/unhelpful. They offered us a pathetic excuse/blamed the trader/did nothing.

We're left feeling frustrated and suggest looking elsewhere for your tradesman needs.
